Jaume Masià, 2023 Moto3 World Champion

Le0pard Racing completes the Qatar Grand Prix with a thrilling race, a stunning victory and a dream that, once again, became a reality. After a brilliant season and achieving a poker of crowns for the blue structure, Jaume Masià has been crowned 2023 Moto3 World Champion:

Sunday got underway under the lights of the Lusail International Circuit, with Le0pard Racing starting the race from the 10th and the 13th spots on the grid with Jaume Masià and Adrián Fernández respectively.
Jaume Masià faced his first match point with determination, fighting his way back from 10th on the grid to the podium places in the early stages of the race, battling within a very crowded leading group. Adrián Fernández struggled a bit more at first, but soon began to move up positions making a great comeback.
Constantly changing positions, Jaume Masià managed to remain in the fight for the victory during the whole the race, hitting the front 5 laps to go while Adrián Fernández arrived to 5th place.
Leading the race from that point onwards, Jaume Masià crossed the finish line in 1st place to take his 4th victory of the season, going down in history as he clinched the 2023 Moto3 title. For his part, Adrián Fernández struggled in the final stages of the race, finishing in 17th place.
Jaume Masià becomes the 2023 Moto3 World Champion after an amazing season, in which he has claimed 4 victories, 10 podiums and 6 pole positions so far.
Le0pard Racing seals another title, having been crowned World Champions in four occasions, with Danny Kent in 2015, Joan Mir in 2017, Lorenzo Dalla Porta in 2019 and now with Jaume Masià in 2023.
Together through thick and thin, the Le0pard Racing family now heads to Valencia pleased with the work done, eager to keep succeeding, to keep dreaming big and to keep working hard for it. As we have always done, as we will always do.

It’s hard to believe. It’s an amazing feeling. It took many years, with all the doubts, with all the injuries, with all the insecurities. I just want to thank my team and my family for believing in me the way they did. I dedicate this to my parents, for everything they have done for me. I can only say a big thank you to all the people who are by my side. It’s been a tough few weeks, specially this last one. I was more nervous than usual, and it was very hard to manage. Yesterday I had a lot of doubts after the qualifying we did, but thanks to everyone who supports me, I was able to face today’s race strongly. I fought this with all my strength, because I deserve it, because we deserve it. I can’t believe I’m World Champion »

First of all, I want to congratulate Jaume and the team, they have worked day and night to win this Championship, and they deserve it. I am very happy for them. Regarding myself, I was able to make a great comeback as the laps went by. However, when the race was coming to an end, the tyre started to drop and I finished in 17th position. Valencia awaits! »
